iphone earphones review

do you clean your earpods, airpods, in-ear headphones and earbuds? >> skeptical everson: should i?! >> everson: they accumulate ear wax and might even start to sound muffled, or with uneven volume. i’ll show you some popular and unusual waysto clean your earpods.

iphone earphones review

iphone earphones review, one is so perfect - and you would never guess! i am everson and this is geek detour at normal distance, they might notlook that dirty… but we are going to watch it very, very close,

using this huge macro zoom lens, so prepare your stomach! hum... oh, really?! eww! [woman scream] >> skeptical everson: what? my ears are super clean! have you ever took a close lookat your own earbuds?? >> everson: not judging!

the point is: we want to remove the wax, instead of spread it covering the mesh even further. ready? before, my lawyer told me to show you this: “use my advice at your own risk!” warning: you are about to see some stupid ideas that can damage everything and destroy our civilization! “if anything goes wrong don't blame me!” method 1: hydrogen peroxide

people use it a lot to remove waxfrom clogged ears... ...and earbuds. the bubbles are oxygen. but hydrogen peroxide is not exactly a human wax dissolvent, though it makes the wax softer. the biggest problem is, well, it is waterand it can get inside the speakers. i wouldn’t risk using it with the expensive airpods. method 2: stain remover bath a couple of years ago my earpods were really bad.

the left speaker was sounding lower than theright piece and both were muffled. so i bought new ones… but instead of throwing the old ones away, i completely sunk my earpods in water withsome famous pink stain remover playing loud music for 10 minutes. then i rinsed them well in running water… i shook the water out and let them dry ina bag of rice for a couple of days. success! they got really clean.

sound came back clear and equally loud on both sides. once more, i wouldn’t risk cleaning theexpensive airpods this way! method 3: the washing machine! well, usually, as an accident but some people like the result and recommend the method! so i took that same old pair of earpods and intentionally forgot them in my pants for a full washing cycle. the result? the cords got very clean indeed!

but the sound… well, even after two days in the dry ricebag, sound was bad! the earpod’s speaker cone is made of a paper-like material. so, maybe i abused them with too much water. washing machine is forbidden for airpods… …but i bet it will continue being a popular “choice”. now, seriously. this is how i clean my earpods: method 4:

blu-tack this is true! you can remove your earphones’ wax with blu-tack. you know? the sticky, re-usable adhesive! i discovered it accidentally reading wikipedia! here in spain i bought “patafix” and it works the same way. so far, mounting putty is the best and safest way to remove wax from the earpods’ metal mesh, completely,

even from the tiny ones! as blu-tack is dry, i totallyrecommend it for clea >> skeptical everson: yeah!“safe to clean the airpods!” what happened to your beard? >> skeptical everson: i shaved! how do you clean your earbuds? write your recipe in the comments so everybody can learn! no trolling recipes, ok? i know my earbuds won’t survive the microwave!

i’ve already tried it! [music] [drilling machine] [machine turns off]
